European and Asian buyers of cashew kernels, sesame and shea butter increasingly request processing-energy data for their own reporting. A solar-powered plant with logged output answers the question in one line — and the same panels cut the cost per tonne.
The plant design
Shellers, dryers, graders and presses are daytime loads. Solar sized to the shift with VFDs on the larger motors, a battery for cloud and start-ups, and drying tunnels where relevant. Cold storage is rarely needed, which keeps the battery small and the payback short.
