What Energy-as-a-Service means for you.
You don't buy equipment. Frontières Bay finances, owns and insures the solar array, batteries, inverters and cold rooms at your site.
You pay one monthly fee, fixed for the contract term and set below what you spend today on diesel and grid power — so you save from the first month.
We keep it running. IoT monitoring, preventive maintenance, repairs and replacements are all on us. If it isn't producing, you aren't paying for nothing.
At the end of the term you can renew, upgrade, or take the system over.

What does Energy-as-a-Service cost?
There is no upfront cost. Your monthly fee is set 20–30% below your current diesel plus grid spend — a typical site pays around US$12,000 a month for a full solar + battery + cold storage plant and saves US$30,000–60,000 a year.
Who owns the equipment?
Frontières Bay does, for the length of the contract. That is why we carry maintenance, insurance and monitoring. At the end of the term you can renew, upgrade or take the system over.
Can I have just solar, or just cold storage?
Yes. See our solar power and solar cold storage pages. Combining both under one contract is usually the best value because the same battery carries both loads.
