From first call to first kilowatt-hour: the full customer journey with Frontières Bay

Every step from the enquiry form to a running system — who you speak to, what you send, what you sign, how long each stage takes — so there are no surprises.

Most businesses have never bought energy as a service, so the process itself is a question. Here is the whole journey, stage by stage, with the typical time each takes.

Key facts

  • Enquiry → reply within 24 hours → remote audit (1 week) → site metering (1 week) → proposal.
  • Proposal → LOI (optional) → contract (dollar earners: days; local currency: 2–6 weeks with guarantee and insurance).
  • Order → shipping → installation → commissioning: 10–14 weeks.
  • Then: one monthly fee, 24/7 monitoring, a monthly report, and a named contact.

Stage 1 — enquiry and audit

You fill in the form (two minutes). Samuel replies within 24 hours with a few questions and a request for bills and photos. A remote audit gives a first sizing; a site visit with a data logger confirms it. You receive a written proposal: system, fee or price, saving, timeline.

Stage 2 — agreement

If you want a place in the rollout, a one-page LOI. Then the service agreement (or purchase contract). Dollar-earning customers sign in days; local-currency customers arrange a bank guarantee and insurance alongside, which takes two to six weeks.

Stage 3 — build and run

Equipment is ordered and shipped, the local partner prepares the site, installation takes two to four weeks, and commissioning is against a written checklist with staff training. From then on: one monthly fee, monitoring, maintenance and a monthly report — and a named person to call.

Start at stage 1 — the form takes two minutes.
