What a Phase 1 site is
A commercial or industrial customer — fish or produce exporter, mill, processor, hotel group, pharma distributor — with a solar array of 250 kW–1.5 MW, 100–500 kWh of battery and 10–50 tonnes of cold storage, under a 5–10 year service contract at a fee 20–30% below today's diesel plus grid spend.
How sites are chosen
Dollar-earning exporters with a steady cold or motor load come first, because standard terms apply from a single site. Local-currency businesses join at about US$1M of equipment with currency protections. Sites are built in LOI order, so early audits get early installation.
Phase 2
From 2028, 15–20 further sites across Africa, South America and the Caribbean — the same model, proven at scale.
